Gday again,
I had a couple more questions from my previous post but I wasn't quick enough. Sorry to ask so many questions but here's 2 more.
Firstly, I'm flying back in on Sept 21 and flying back out 2 days later for a 10 day trip to Manila so basically my only day in Thailand I'll have to spend at immigration reporting for a 48 hour stay. Im' guessing that's correct ?
Secondly, I still work offshore so I travel in/out on a monthly basis. I was using METV but thought I'd do the right thing and get a Non O A. Now with all this reporting saga I'm regretting the new visa.
My question is Can I NOT use my Non O A by not putting a visa number on the TM6 arrival card and just come in Visa Exempt as I wont be in Thailand for more than 30 days at any given time ? I can see this becoming a real pain in the neck.
Thanks Steve
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on whether they can enter Thailand without using their Non O-A visa, opting instead for a Visa Exempt Entry for a short stay of under 30 days. They express concern about the documentary requirements and reporting obligations that come with the Non O-A visa due to their offshore work travel schedule.
