Hey Guys,

1- Border run question, can i leave and return same day? (by air, The weather is pretty terrible in neighbouring countries at the moment so seems like a waste to take a rainy holiday) I have METV but it ends this month, so this will be my last trip out and back in, intend to sneak in extra 90 days.

2- Is it possible to get back to back METV? If mine ends November but i return back to the UK Feb [after 90 days sneaky extension] and apply for an METV again?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of doing a same-day border run to extend their stay in Thailand with a METV, which is expiring soon. Comments indicate that same-day border runs are possible but travelers should be prepared for questioning and potential denial of entry based on their prior stay duration. Additionally, while back-to-back METV applications may be feasible, there are risks involved, including the possibility of being denied re-entry into Thailand.

1. Yes. The best border to bounce from is from land however.

2. Betting a back to back METV is POSSIBLE, however if people are getting accepted, they may be getting denied to re-enter Thailand. I recommend getting a different visa if possible.

Benjamin Hays the different visa? A SETV not good. I suspect the METV as well will ring bells upon entry.

I agree if he does get a second METV...enter Thailand by crossing land border...not by flying in.

*You can do border run

* You can TRY to do the METV back to back trick. But beware others have tried it and denied entry. It depends on the amount of time you have been in Thailand.

The METV is a Tourist Visa. Be prepared if you get one but are questioned and denied entry into Thailand.
