TLDR : Answer Summary
The user reported an approval for their DTV visa just one hour after submitting additional documents to the embassy in Los Angeles. The process was noted for its speed, receiving positive feedback and congratulations from the community. Comments also highlighted the importance of printing the approval email for presentation to airline and immigration officials during travel to Thailand.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
I had to submit additional docs but once I did, it was apporoved in an hour. I had given up and didnt expect to be approved cuz I didnt use bank account.

IndigoGrape5836 Oh ok, I thought one hour from original submission. You used an investment account for your 500k THB?
well, original submission was reviewed in 3 hours..they asked for more docs...took a week to get the medical letter and after submitting that and financials it was approved. I thought they wouldnot approve financials but they did. Cash in a brokerage institution. I wrote a cover letter explaining things. Everything was true but it had to be presented in a certain way. Grok helped we with this....lots of info. on how to get to human hands. According to Grok, alot of auto requests for docs before human even sees the app.

IndigoGrape5836 A few embassies like NY, Chicago, Washington allow broker accounts so LA is on that list. Worldwide, bank accounts are mainly acceptable. Grok/ChatGTP are excellent assistants with DTV applications. Enjoy being a DTVER!
