I am toying with an idea, perhaps somebody might know.
If I get a SETV visa from the Thai embassy in London.
Can the start date be what ever I want?
An thinking of Da Nang and the Philippines first on a long trip then ending up in Thailand.
If i have an SETV visa already then it saves getting one in Da Nang or the Philippines.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A SETV (Single Entry Tourist Visa) issued in London has specific regulations regarding its start date. According to responses, the visa must be used within three months of issuance, but the effective start date is the day you enter Thailand, not when the visa is issued. This means you can travel to places like Da Nang and the Philippines before entering Thailand, as long as you use the visa within the designated timeframe.
