Can I cancel my visa in Thailand and return on a work permit from Cambodia instead of Laos?
I have a question for the group. I have been at my school for about 6 years but I am changing to a Language Center instead. The Language Center will not be able to prepare my documents in time for my Visa to expire. I think I may have to leave the country and come back on a tourist visa at least one time. My question is can I cancel and come back on a work permit by going to Cambodia or do I have to go to Laos?
Answer summary
The user is inquiring about options for changing their visa situation after six years of working at a school in Thailand. They are considering switching to a Language Center but face issues with document preparation before their visa expires. They want to know if canceling their current visa and re-entering Thailand on a work permit can be done by traveling to Cambodia, or if they must go to Laos instead.
