Hi everyone,

I’m non O visa holder and already got 60 days visit family extension starting next 27th. I’m about to start Work Permit process.

Can I apply for another extension based on work once I get my work permit?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user holds a NON-O visa and is seeking advice on the possibility of obtaining an extension of stay based on employment after acquiring a work permit. According to a comment, extensions may be possible if certain income thresholds are met, particularly if the individual earns a minimum wage relevant to their job type.

*IF* you're making minimum wage (which varies depending on the passport country and the job), you can get an extension of stay based on employment off from the extension of stay based on visiting Thai family. Teaching does not have a minimum wage

*IF* you're making 40K THB a month, you can get an extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national.
