Hello does anyone have any experience with visa extension in Cambodia?? I was waiting for the DTV approval but I only have a visa exemption..so I'm worried that I'll not get that in 14 days and want to apply for a T visa. So my question is can I apply it in person at immigration office?? What things do they require?

if you go cambodia and back on the same day, the cam immigration might deny your exit as they might require you to stay 1 day. tourist visa can only be from thai embassy in other country, not in thai. you might be able to get 30 days extension at your local immigration with passport, a passport photo, tm30.

I'm currently in Cambodia so is there anyway I can extend my visa exemption?? I'm sorry my sentences are a bit confusing what I meant is that I'm currently in Cambodia with visa exemption already and have applied for DTV and am waiting for approval but I'm worried I might not get approval within 14 days so I'm just wondering if I can extend my stay in Cambodia.

Anonymous participant - No, you can not switch from a 14 day visa exempt to a 30 day tourist visa. Not sure why you would pick the 14 day visa exempt, when the Thai consulate in Phnom Penh says it on average will take 11 working days to process any visa. If you submitted on the 29th, you should expect to receive it (if all goes well with no additional requests) on Nov 12th. If any small issue, delaying it a day or two, you will then run into the holidays (14th and 15th are national holidays)
