Has anyone applied and succeeded for DTV using the Thai intensive course with Mind Language School in Koh Samui?
They offer a 2 week intensive course to learn Thai and say it’s eligible for the DTV as well.
I thought you can only do a language course on an ED’s visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a DTV visa through a two-week intensive Thai language course at Mind Language School in Koh Samui. While it's suggested that similar language courses may qualify for DTV visas, experiences shared indicate that approval might not be common. Comments emphasize concerns about the success rate of visa approvals associated with such courses and suggest verifying the school's refund policy in case of rejection.
Decider is how many successful DTV approvals have they had and at which embassy

I’m not familiar with the one in Koh Samui, but the Thai language schools I’ve looked into that advertise DTV packages aren’t *just* language, but also cultural classes, Muay Thai, and other Thai-culture related activities (like a cooking class).

There have been a couple of posts detailing approval via a language course but the majority of embassies do not approve language courses for DTV. Ask, Do they give a full refund if rejected for the DTV? How many approvals have they helped?
