Has anyone had their Digital nomad DTV accepted using sponsored funds from their parents at the embassies in any neighbouring countries?
Looking to apply for Laos but unsure on the situation.
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the acceptance of Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) applications using funds sponsored by parents at embassies in neighboring countries, particularly Laos. Some users share experiences, noting that funds must be in the applicant's name for at least three months. Additionally, one user mentions that for the application process, supporting documents like bank statements, proof of relationship, and potentially a letter of support from the parents could be necessary.
Just have your parents transfer the money into your account. Once the money is in your name it doesn't matter where it came from. Especially if it's been in your account for 3 months. You can apply easily after that.
All neighboring countires do not accept parents as sponsor if you apply as main applicant. The bank statements MUST be under your name ONLY. Sponsorship only accept in the case you apply as dependent of the Main DTV holder
