Answer summary

The user is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a 60-day COVID extension for their TR60 visa, which is set to expire on February 28. They want to know when the best time would be to apply for the extension, suggesting a date of February 7 to avoid long queues. Comments highlight that applications can be made in the last 30 days of the visa, and one commenter asks for clarification on how the TR60 visa was obtained.

online only. No in person appointments allowed. Everything is done online now, you don't even mail your passport in.

you can arrive with no visa and get stamped in for 30 days. This is called visa exempt. This can be extended at immigration for 30 days, giving you 60 days total.

Or you can apply for a 60 day Tourist Visa from the embassy in London and this can also be extended for 30 days at immigration, giving you a total of 90 days.
