Probably not the right question for this page, but just wondering for those married to a Thai woman do you, can you, and have you both gone through customs immigration together when you arrive at Bangkok airport from another country?
Answer summary
Yes, foreign spouses of Thai citizens can go through customs and immigration together at Bangkok airport, typically using the Thai line, which is often less crowded. Many users confirm that they have consistently gone together through the Thai immigration line without any issues, regardless of whether they hold a Thai passport or not. It has been noted that having a Thai spouse allows for expedited entry, even if you are not married, as some travelers have shared experiences of being allowed through the Thai line with their partners.

Viengsay Vannavong Immigration and customs are 2 different things.. the former checks your visa status.. the latter checks your luggage if they are suspicious.. you will always go through customs together!
yeah if the line is shorter, I just tag along to the Thai side...usually they just keep the line moving...although I think once they kicked me to the farang line...I didn't care...I was in Thailand at that point...lol
Travelled solo back from Malaysia a month ago and started along to my usual shorter queue only to be reminded that I’m not Thai when no wife and kids in tow

I’ve always done this. Immigration would rather not have people separated and having to wait around for their spouse. My wife also comes through the UK channel when we arrive in London (although she can’t use the e-gates yet, there’s almost never a queue to see an IO).
Ever since I have had my one year retirement extension I also use the thai line and I go through alone. Years ago one of the officials that organized people that are going through immigration told me with a one-year Visa be it marriage retirement or business you're allowed to go through Thai only
Some times it depends on the IO, sometimes with a a work permit they let you use the Thai line as well If you are asking is a right.. The answer is no it isn't and depends on the mood of the IO
I’m Thai, although didn’t use Thai passport for many years until a couple of years ago, the immigration asked I can use Thai passport queue and can take my grown up family to the line with me. Your wife is Thai, she can take her family and you too.

Michael Kennedy it all depends on the IO it's not a right, same as having a work permit, I have had about a 95% success rate using the the Thai line showing my work permit and without my wife in tow
