Hello. I have a question that I can't seem to find among other forums - Is it possible for an Egyptian passport holder to acquire a re-entry visa in Thailand or must it be done in Egypt? If it is possible - where can it be done? - what is the process? - and how much would it cost? Many thanks. Nefertari.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Egyptian passport holder can acquire a re-entry permit while in Thailand, rather than needing to obtain it from Egypt. They can apply for a Single or Multiple Re-Entry Permit at the local Immigration office or at the airports in Bangkok before exiting the country. It's important to note that the re-entry permit works in conjunction with an existing visa or permission to stay.
IF you want to know about the re-entry permit it works like this: IF you stay inside Thailand and want to leave and come back before the last day of your Admitted to Stay period inside Thailand you can apply for a Single or Multiple Re-Entry Permit at the Immigration office in your area or at both airports in Bangkok just before you get stamped out of Thailand.
