I am an Egyptian passport holder and I would appreciate advice from anyone who has personal experience with this situation.

Has any Egyptian successfully converted a Tourist Visa (TR) to a Non-Immigrant B visa inside Thailand after receiving a teaching job offer?

I have heard conflicting information. Some people say it is possible to convert the visa inside Thailand, while others say Egyptian passport holders must leave Thailand and apply for the Non-B visa from their home country.

If you are Egyptian or know someone who has recently gone through this process, could you please share your experience and when it happened?

It is not linked to your nationality, but to the immigration office. A few immigration offices only do that. Most simply don't. So your employer should ask the local immigration office. If they say they can do it, your documents should be submitted three weeks before your visa expires. It's nearly impossible !

Whether you can convert a tourist entry to a Non-B inside Thailand will depend on whether your employer is willing to provide the extensive paperwork required to do so or not. Many employers prefer you to apply for the Non-B outside of Thailand as that requires substantially less paperwork. Speak to your potential employer.
