TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, a Thai national can travel on Thai Airways from the UK with an expired passport, but boarding will depend on the airline's discretion. It's advisable to get a new passport in Thailand, where issuance can be quick. However, some users expressed doubt about boarding policies and suggested verifying with the airline beforehand.
