TLDR : Answer Summary
The question discusses the eligibility of foreign grandparents of Thai citizens for a Non-O visa for family purposes. Responses indicate uncertainty about eligibility, with one commenter suggesting that if the grandparent is over 50, they might qualify for a Non-O retirement visa instead, allowing for a 90-day entry.

If a grandparent then you probably meet the requirements for a Non-O retirement (i.e. being 50+) to get you the same 90 day entry.
