Thanks for the answer. It is not possible for us to extent for a yoer.We have to go abroad I think to get a <new tourist visa for 30 days Thanks anyway

You can get a 12 month extension and travel abroad anytime in those 12 months getting a re-entry permit to maintain your extension of stay status and the date of the extension stamp.

there is no 30-days tourist visa. There only is a visa-exempt entry that gives you 30 days stay permit

No, the only extension available is the 1 year extension unless you have close Thai relatives.
