TLDR : Answer Summary
The ongoing situation regarding visa overstays and extensions due to the Middle East conflict appears to be unchanged, with some users confirming the continuation of a waiver and temporary extension procedures. If you possess a canceled flight ticket related to the conflict, you may be able to demonstrate this at immigration for an extension. For up-to-date information, it's recommended to visit your nearest immigration office or follow news updates regarding Thailand's immigration policies.

My friend went to PHUKET Immigration yesterday to get the extension and there was a sign that instead of an extension she just has to show her old flight ticket with the cancelled flight at the airport immigration and thats it. She asked the officer if this information was right and he confirmed it.

Report to your nearest immigration office with your flight tickets and take it from there.
