TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian passport holder can enter Thailand on a 60-day visa exemption for business purposes, such as visiting suppliers. However, applying for a Non-Immigrant B visa is also an option if needed, and the application requirements are relatively straightforward.

As a passport holder from India you could come into thailand on a 60 day visa exempt entry and I believe have no issues visiting a supplier without having to have a Non-B visa.

They do issue a Non-B visa for the purpose of "doing business in thailand" and you could apply for that category though and the requirements are not too difficult to meet
