TLDR : Answer Summary
Indian passport holders can enter Thailand under a 60-day visa exemption for business purposes, such as visiting suppliers, without the need for a Non-Immigrant B visa. However, they also have the option to apply for a Non-B visa, which is specifically for doing business in Thailand, if they prefer or require it.

As a passport holder from India you could come into thailand on a 60 day visa exempt entry and I believe have no issues visiting a supplier without having to have a Non-B visa.

They do issue a Non-B visa for the purpose of "doing business in thailand" and you could apply for that category though and the requirements are not too difficult to meet
