DTV Workcation Approved at Royal Thai Embassy Jakarta

Background story

Native Indonesian citizen living in Bali. Applying as DTV Remote Worker. I'm a self employed Graphic Designer running my own practice, I am based in Bali, but I work locally & internationally for Australian, European & Southeast Asian clienteles (Singapore & Indonesia). Applying with no Visa Agent.

Timeline

January 9: Documents submitted + payment secured.

January 24: Further Document(s) Requested

January 30: Request for Visa Interview

February 3: Flew to Jakarta from Bali.

February 4: Interview at Royal Thai Embassy Jakarta at 10 AM.

February 4: DTV Approved by Email at 1:55 PM.

Professional Profile of my design studio (I do have a website and a credentials to all my Graphic Design works)

Freelance Agreements

I provide 3 work agreements as I am partnering with Communication Agency at Singapore & London.

Cover Letter & Proof of Current Residence (I provide the invoice of my apartment rent in Denpasar).

Second Submission

Stay Permit from Indonesian Immigration

I provide them my national ID Card & additional Cover Letter telling that I'm a native Indonesian working at my own country.

Financial Evidence

They simply asked me to upload clear documents. Lesson learned: Embassy seem to favor proper paperwork.

I shrink 2 pages of bank statements into 1 page on my first submission. On my second submission, I uploaded in total 30 pages of bank statements combined in 1 PDF with 96 DPI resolution.

Company Registration Number

In Indonesian, we call it *Nomor Induk Berusaha*.

Passport not Skipping any Pages.

-Got approved 12 June

-Total is 6 working days (do nothing, just wait)

-No documents asked
