ORIGINAL POSTER
Did my extensions of stay based on a Thai child today in Ubon Ratchanthani. Had all required documentation. Did the monthly deposit from abroad method. Only thing different than in the past, they did interview and asked why my income from abroad immediately left my account at my bank, and I transfer it to my wife’s account. Then they questioned my wife on what she spent the money on. I got my 30 day under review, nothing said about visiting house or requiring witnesses to us living there as in the past. FYI we moved in last year.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares their recent experience extending their stay in Thailand due to having a Thai child, highlighting a change in the process involving an interview at the Ubon Ratchathani Immigration office. They submitted all required documents and followed the monthly deposit method from abroad, but faced questions regarding the management of their income and expenditures. Unlike previous experiences, the user received a 30-day review without being required to provide proof of residence or witnesses.

Thank you for your report.

THIS is for the Ubon Ratchanthani Immigration office.

ALWAYS BEST to ask your Thai Immigration office for their list of requirements for the extension of stay you are wanting.
