*have everything for the DTV except "Proof of confirmation to attend the activity or letter of appointment from hospital/medical center"*

*I am going to Thailand and have selected the "SOFT POWER" reason for the DTV and I am going to exercise and train as im a full time amateur cyclist (unemployed but put freelancer with under 20k income since some random sponsorship deal etc happens in usa) have attached proof of way more than adequate funds in a. bank account so I should be good to go but the problem is there is no official cycling races or things I can show proof of there.*

*It says a music festival is an option but I have no interest in that, should I just buy a 3000baht ticket for a festival I have no interest in to get the visa? seems stupid but....*

*Applying for DTV under the "thai soft power" activity since I am a full time cyclist and im coming to train for half the year but there are no "confirmation of activities or events/appointments" theres no races or anything. Maybe theres something else I can just buy a cheap reservation for that will qualify me?*

Also it is asking for FLIGHT & ACCOMODATION addresses and dates and proof. How am I supposed to pay for a flight 2 mo from now if I dont know the visa will be approved? also will the accomodations need to be for the full 180days? I plan to stay in a rented condo on airbnb for maybe a week untill I find something better for the long term.***

Is the onward proof of travel always asked for at land crossings? and does any ticket other than plane work ? I will arrive in Thailand on visa exemp by air, but then cycle out for Cambodia & Laos, and may re-enter Thailand 2 times more.
