My DTV has been pending approval for over 4 weeks. My flight is very soon. But it says on my embassy website that they won’t deliver the visa if you already left the country and entered on visa exemption. If I do enter still, will it hinder my chances of applying to another DTV in a neighbouring country ?

The embassy of Thailand in France is pretty useless when it comes to getting a tourist visa.

I requested one for me, my husband and our 2 kids more than a month before we leave. We prove everything requested (money, utilities bills etc).

1 day before we leave France, we get a request for more information (mariage certificate, even though our married names are on the passports, birth certificates for the kids) with the comment that we should move our trip by a week or so, as they now need more time and they will not issue the visa once we left France (we do for 2 weeks in the UAE, so would have been plenty of time).

Of course I am not postponing my trip and paying another 4k euro or so.

Simply means I have wasted 140 euro and still need to find a way to extend while we are in Koh Lanta.

Especially annoying as my friend who went through the same in the Netherlands didn't have any of this and got it sorted in 2 weeks.

Hello,

The Thai embassy in France made an announcement on their website saying that "All embassies had a problem accessing thaievisa platform and none of them have been able to process visa since the 6th of November".

Have you heard about this? Is it the same in your country? Do you know if this has been resolved?

Hi! 2 friends have been today at the Embassy in Viebtiane for applying for the Ed visa. The Embassy didn't allow them to enter as they have a crash in the system and all the appointments are cancelled. They are tryin to fix it but at this moment they don't let people come in. So my friends are going back to thailand and try to understand what to do with the school. Is this happening to any of you too? I have booked the appointment on 27th of march... and my letter expires on 28th. If you have update info on what's going on... thank you!
