Has the Non O marriage visa changed from multiple entry to single?

Hello !!!! I am in need of information regarding recent Non 0 Visa changes. Previously, I would apply for a Non O multiple entry based on marriage to a Thai national. We only stay about 6 months, so we would take a short trip, and get an additional 90 days on re-entry at the end of which we return home, and repeat the process the following year. Now they are only issuing single entry, good for 90 days, and the rules for extending, or leaving, and re-entering aren't clear. I am hoping someone can add some light to these recent changes.
