Hi. Just wanted to verify.

I am going to Savannakhet to apply for a new 90-day Non-B visa for work. I have the appropriate paperwork from my new place of employment.

I believe that I no longer need to make an appointment through this website: [members only]/

The process should simply be.

1) Prepare paperwork. Upload as much as I can into the E-visa website: [members only]/

2) Enter Laos

3) Between 09:00 and 10:00 upload additional verification that I am physically in Laos. This can be a photo of my Laos entry visa.

4) Pay the Visa fee. I believe that I must do this in-person with cash at the Thai consulate in Savannakhet.

5) Wait for the visa to be emailed to me. Or will I go to the consulate to pick up the visa after being notified?

Is this correct? Anything I am missing?

Does anyone know if my spouse has to come with me when picking up the visa?

She got lucky and got an appointment for the vaccination, that she can't move.

Do you know if you can come in and pick it up a day later or earlier?

Just got a phone call from a Thai immigration officer informing me to go to Chaenwattana to pick up my visa (ie close the loop) as opposed to MTT. Spoke perfect English and was very friendly! Was not expecting that at all.

Has anyone ever successfully closed out an under consideration stamp a few days earlier than the date they said to come back?

With the appointment numbers are they calling people up in order or is it first come first serve? The online appointment says #77.

Secondly, does anybody know what happens if you cannot pick up your passport the following working day?

Very mundane question.. And you have had it one million time's.. Vientiane was choka block yesterday ended up getting seen near closing to received my ticket for picking up my visa tomorrow..high number 249...I'm not gonna go late or that but is there much point in me going before 2 pm to pick up my tourist visa..Sorry todd and the other admin lol ..remove the post if you see fit 😀

I applied for a 60 day tourist visa in KL, but failed to pick it up today. My flight leaves tomorrow 7am. Is there anything I can do? am I doomed for a 30day stamp on arrival? Has anyone been in this situation before?
