Just got a phone call from a Thai immigration officer informing me to go to Chaenwattana to pick up my visa (ie close the loop) as opposed to MTT. Spoke perfect English and was very friendly! Was not expecting that at all.

thanx for the heads up. What a good thing for them to do, especially seeing as getting from MTT to Chaengwattana is not the easiest of trips
