This enquiry might be a little strange, if so, the powers that be can delete it.

I am currently on a Non B and have less than one month remaining. The company I work for has applied for my work permit (this is the second application as the first time they said my medical cert expired) and they keep telling me 'next week next week'. The whole process seems a shambles with another colleague having had to go on to another tourist visa and apply for a 2nd Non B (because his first finished with no sign of a work permit)

I guess my enquiry is.. is this normal??
