Bonjour,

Could you tell me what are the deadlines for the e-Visa processing at the Paris Consulate?

I have a trip to Thailand on March 19. Submitting my visa on February 26th. I'm worried about getting it in time.

Thank you in advance.

Visited the Thai consulate in Paris a couple of weeks ago and talked to a nice lady from the visa section.

Here is some feedback that some of you might find useful.

1-They have conflicting requirements on the official embassy website on conditions required to be granted a SETV. I was told that they will probably not grant one if you spent « close to 90 days or more » in the kingdom for the last 6 months.

2-If you are traveling with an airline from the gulf and hope to enter Thailand on a visa exemption, she told me there has been recent cases of passengers being denied boarding by mostly Etihad because the return flight was more than 30 days later. Some airlines don’t want to take the risk that you are denied entry.

I flew in on Kuwait airways and was indeed asked for my expected duration of stay at check in as i did not have a visa and my return date was after 84 days. (I had bought a tkt to SGN for 3 weeks after arrival to avoid any issue)

Have a great sunday everyone 🤗
