TLDR : Answer Summary
A Singaporean can apply for a work permit in Thailand under their own company if certain conditions are met, including having at least 4 full-time Thai employees and a minimum registered capital of 2 million baht. However, some expats suggest exploring the Smart Visa, which allows setting up a business without needing Thai staff or a work permit, and offers benefits like tax exemptions.

I would suggest better register your company in socio enterprise as member and you are qualified for Smart Visa you don't need 4thai staff and your company will be exempted to Tax and Vat, this what I did that's why I got my Smart Visa 1 year, no need working permit. I can give you their contact if you want to know more about the details and the process.

The Labour department requires the business to have at least bt2million in registered capital, and hire at least 4 Thai employees, for each work permit. There are business structure ways to avoid hiring the Thai employees, but not the bt2million in registered capital requirement. Without that registered capital they won't give you a work permit.

Your company also needs to have (pay taxes for) 4 full time Thai employees before the company can sponsor a foreigner work permit.

yes. You don't pay vat until you reach a certain threshold ( turnover). I don't remember the numbers.
