With restrictions and potential lockdowns coming.....I have a question.
Anybody here last April/May was immigration still operating normally? I have an extension due in a few weeks for my ED visa and just wondered what happens if the worst happens. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community members suggest that immigration services in Thailand are likely to operate normally, even during potential lockdowns. There was a discussion about the possibility of a visa amnesty, but opinions vary on its likelihood. Some mentioned that certain offices might require appointments for extensions.
Yes. Essential service. They did introduce a visa amnesty, until they realised they could milk farangs for easy money and replaced it with 60 day extensions. I think it'll be business as usual, they might space the seats out a bit further in the car park! 🤣
