Hi hope everyone is well. I've just done 90 day reporting online for the first time and got an email saying they have received my details. My question is do I have to wait for confirmation that everything is okay so I'm sure I have done correctly and will get a new date to report? I'm on a non O retirement visa, thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
After completing your 90-day reporting online for a Non-O retirement visa in Thailand, it is necessary to wait for a confirmation email that verifies your submission was accepted and provides your next reporting date. The initial email simply acknowledges receipt of your details. It's also worth noting that outcomes can vary; some individuals may receive a rejection email if there are issues with their submission, necessitating a follow-up at the nearest Immigration Office.

Wait for a mail with the result of your 90 days report.

Approval is not the only possible outcome. It happens frequently that people do a online notification and receive a email that it has been rejected with no reason stated, only "Please contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately."

I had a typo and was rejected, resubmitted and approved. Thought I would have to go in but said let me try again and it went through.

Yes, you have to wait for another email that says it was accepted and your next date. The first email just means they received your request not that it’s approved.

If you got the confirmation you should have the document by Monday or Tuesday. They don’t work over the weekend.

your next one you should receive an email from immigration when you’re in the window. It’s been working but I always print out the doc and keep it with my passport and a copy on my phone. Just archive the email.
