TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual inquired about potential immigration issues when returning to Thailand by air after traveling to Myanmar to obtain an ED visa, specifically whether having a tourist visa and entry stamp would cause any complications. The responses highlighted that the outcome is ultimately determined by the Immigration Officer at the point of entry, particularly if there is a history of multiple entries/exits, and advised the individual to prepare for varying circumstances, possibly having a backup plan.

Two things, you discuss with your school where to go to apply for the ED visa. If you already have a longer history of living in Thailand and using the Visa Exempt Entry, Tourist Visa or Non Immigrant ED visa, which are all Employment prohibited it is up to the Immigration Officer at the checkpoints to decide that you can enter Thailand or not. As this is all done on a case to case basis, nobody on this page can tell you it will be a smooth entry, you get questions or you can be denied. Have a plan B prepared. Good luck.

again...I await morning reply. Its seems that you are living in Thailand using many visas, border runs, extensions. Be prepared to be denied entry...even with a new Visa in your passport. Get a CORRECT visa for living in Thailand.

are you now wanting to go to Myanmar to get an Ed Visa or Tourist Visa?

You are allowed to cross land border two times per calendar year. If you have a VISA you can cross by a land border.

I suggest you try to arrange getting visa and return by LAND CROSSING not by air.

The only one who can answer your question will be the Immigration Officer on arrival. IF you have a HISTORY of many entries/exits into Thailand you may be asked.
