Ok I need to know if this is going to be an issue. We just purchased two bus tickets into Thailand and for some reason they both came up under the same name. Will this be an issue obtaining a visa now or not? Thx in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The main concern raised is whether having two bus tickets booked under the same name will impact the ability to obtain a visa for Thailand. Comments emphasize the necessity of showing proof of travel into Thailand and onward travel, and obtaining a visa before arriving at a Thai border. It is noted that tickets might serve as proof for the visa application and that confirmation of travel intentions is crucial.

, don't forget you need tickets to thailand AND proof of onward travel OUT of thailand in 60 to 90 days as well. Also you need to show a confirmed booking or rental agreement for your entire stay in thailand.

Thursday afternoon went back and maybe half an hour wait and picked up the visa with the new SETV. No issues at all. Thx again for all the advice.

Ok dropped the visa application off on Wednesday morning. A few people there but the wait was no more then an hour or so. With all the proper documents there was no problems. Bus ticket into Thailand and a bus ticket out in 60 days. They took the payment of 150RM or 1500THB.

Thx yes, we booked more bus tickets out of Thailand to Laos last night for before the 60 days even and we already have the rental agreement lease we signed. I think we have all the “i’s” dotted and “t’s” crossed. The only sticking point I can see is that the two bus tickets in are under the same name. We tried to get them changed but never got an answer back from the site.

Ok thank you Tod. I will put a smile on my face and keep my fingers crossed.

you shouldn't have a problem but know, that consulate is no nonsense and you either meet their requirements or you don't get a visa. They're not hard core, they're just no nonsense..

Are you using the bus tickets to show proof of travel TO thailand at a thai consulate when you BUY a visa?

Yes

You obtain a Visa before travel to Thailand at a Thai Embassy or Consulate. Not on the way with a bus towards Thailand.

Correct, I not understand, just because If you just take a bus without buying a Visa at a Thai Consulate or Embassy you will not enter Thailand on a Visa. Depending on your country of origin you may enter Thailand on a Visa Exempt Entry (maximum 2 a calendar year for most countries) or with a Visa On Arrival, but this is just for 21 countries. So please explain what you're up to?

?? I don’t think you quite understood Robert. We need confirmation of travel into Thailand and since we are traveling over land, a bus is a natural selection. The bus doesn’t leave until Friday so it’s not quite on the way.
