Hi everyone,

just quick question regarding Thai visa and flight confirmation. If I apply for Thai visa and Thailand pass with flight confirmation date, if I get approved, can I change my flight date afterward?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you apply for a Thai visa and Thailand Pass with a flight confirmation date, you generally need to adhere to the rules surrounding the Thailand Pass. It is suggested that you have up to 72 hours after your original flight date to use the same Thailand Pass; beyond that, you may need to reapply. Your visa itself does not require notification for changes as long as it is valid, but confirm that the Thailand Pass may require a new application if you change the flight date significantly. Note that the necessity for round-trip flight confirmation can depend on the visa type.

For the flight confirmation for Thai Visa, Does it require round trip confirmation or just one way flight only? I bought a R/T flight ticket and already used the 1st of leg of the trip(BKK>LAX) already. Now I am return to BKK(LAX>BKK).

Your visa is good until the date it states, generally 90 days from the date it was issued. You don't need to notify anyone.

Your Thailand Pass is for a specific date so you'll likely need to apply for a new one.

depends on the type of visa. If it's a long-term visa like a non-O then you don't need to prove onward travel, but if it's a tourist visa they want proof of onward travel.

Also, for the Bank statement, I only have my business name(not my name) appear on my bank statement. However, I do have a bank balance summary request from a branch that show both my name and my business name along with the account balance xx,xxx and the date from Chase Bank. Will this be ok?

I believe you have 72 hrs after your original flight to use the same Thai Pass. Any longer and you will need a new application for Thai pass

So how exactly does the 72 hours work?

For example, if you were initially supposed to fly into Thailand on Jan. 1st at 1pm, you would be permitted to enter any day / anytime before 11:59 pm on Jan. 4th?
