I cannot speak specially about England but I can say that my local Consulate in Canada is closed on every Thai and every Canadian holiday. It makes a person wonder if they are ever open.

most embassies does this and its logic if you think about it. Most embassies employ people from their local community as well as their home country.

Thanks. I do understand the logic, but it can be a hurdle for us as customers. Be I do admit that the local consulate does post a list of dates they will not be open, it is just that there a heck of a lot of them! 😆

I called my old friend to give him back his borrowed money, he say he is advised quarantine.5 minutes Later,he realised what just happened. Now he is calling back .😂😂

Embassy hours are 9 am - 12am, all depends. The internet advertised times are wrong and there is a notice hanging on the gate with times although that is nor always correct either. I went there four times once it was closed even though it was advertised as open.
