TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about what to put as their country of residence on the new digital arrival card for Thailand, as they are living in Thailand but unsure if it qualifies as their residence. Community responses suggest that residents should list their home country (passport issuing country) or Thailand if that option becomes available, as it generally won't affect entry. Additionally, users commented on the application process for the digital arrival card.

When can I apply for the digital arrival. I've tried to apply but haven't been able to complete

Country of residence is the country where you currently live on a legal basis with a residence permit

Place of residence is your passport issuing country I would think

Honestly, it doesn't really matter. If you put it to match your passport it will be fine, and if you put it to Thailand once they add that as an option before it's deployed.

If it allows you to enter Thailand, then do that. Otherwise just put your passport country.
