Where can I find a DLT office in Thailand that accepts walk-ins for driver licenses, besides Chatuchak?

Can anyone recommend a DLT(driver license) location that allows walk-ins? The online appointment queue is full for the next two months. Aside from Chatuchak, are there any other DLT offices where walk-ins are accepted?

If Chatuchak is the only option, what’s the best time to go to increase the chances of getting a same-day slot? Thanks! 🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking recommendations for DLT (Driver License Transfer) offices in Thailand that accept walk-ins, as the online appointment options are fully booked for two months. They specifically ask for alternatives to the Chatuchak office and inquire about the best times to visit to secure a same-day appointment. Responses include advice about needing a certificate of residency from immigration and mention of the Pranburi DLT office as a successful walk-in experience.

as you will need a certificate of residency from the Immigration which is serving the area where you are TM30 registered, you will need to use the DLT serving the same area. So, only by moving to somewhere else, register TM30 and visit Immigration, you could theoretically end up in an area where you can get your Thai drivers license much faster

Quite possibly. I know in Phang Nga and Krabi they’ll accept a RC from Phuket. Who knows what other offices will accept.

Many folks from Phuket have been going to Phang Nga to get renewals done, due to 3 month appointment scam here to try and force people to use agents, so not sure about the same province story.

No such rule that you need to use the same DLT as the residence certificate area.

the real question is if a DLT will approve a certificate of residence from outside their area. Some may do, others may not

I walked into Pranburi, didn't know I needed an appointment. Took ½ day, but other than that, all went well...
