TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM47 90-day reporting form can be downloaded from the Thai Immigration website. It is available as a PDF at the provided link: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/18.Form-TM-47.pdf. For first-time filings, it is necessary to report in person, bringing your passport and a copy of the TM30 form registered by your accommodation. For subsequent reports, you may utilize online reporting if registered, but note that initial reports must be done in person.

I have tried the On Line reporting and the site seems unreliable and did not submit my documentation. For safety I front up at the Embassy. I downloaded a TM47 from their website 1 week ago and had to complete a new form at the Embassy as they have changed it.

If it's your 2nd report u can do it on line, it only takes a few minutes. But u must do your 1st report in person

Ray Low-On that's a good question, im not sure if ur able to upload all the required docs, so I'm gonna guess no, when u try it, they usually come back with an email within 24hrs saying "DENIED, PLEASE ATTEND IMMIGRATION"

1 thing to note online guys, the 7 days after date doesn't apply, but worst than that, on the day is also too late, ie if your report date is 20th march, you must do online no later than 19th, on 20th it will be refused 😡

Have you filed one before ?

If you have , There is a website you can register Online and do it

******************************

If it’s your first , the first one needs to be in person

Just take your passport & copy of TM30 that your accommodation has registered

Good question

My last one took 10 days

Perhaps with all the “ worldly “ disruptions it might be slow at the moment

Ant W Tailor Pardon,

could I ask for a bit of clarification?

If someone moves to an area covered by a different immigration office, is this considered again as a first report?

If they have already completed a 90 day check in another area & there next one is at a new address , the correct procedure is notify the new immigration office with the new address -

With the 90 day check in at the new immigration office, if they don’t have your new TM30 , that is the main thing they will want to see as well as your passport

So yes , this next one ( at - new address ) will require to be in person
