When does the Yangon embassy add new appointment slots? 

I’ve been trying to book an appointment for a DTV visa at the Thai embassy in Yangon for over a week now but it’s always full. I’m checking about 5 times a day. First I thought they added new times at midnight but that wasn’t the case. It seems like they’re opening up new slots between 1 am and 8 am? Hoping someone can confirm.

It opens at 6:30 am MM time sharp. And you'll only have a few mins before the slots run out. You have to be very very quick. For me, I wrote down all the items i need to fill in such as name, email, pp number, ph number on a notepad and by 6:30 am, I clicked the link, went in, copied and entered all my info, chose the visa type (Any type of visa will do. Don't sweat much), all within like 30 secs. I managed to get it. Good luck.

would this still apply if my working contract is from a UK company. I currently have a remote working contract - proof of said company registration & some previous invoices I’ve sent to clients also in the UK

It's a kind of labour seal issued from Ministry of labour in Myanmar. It's said that you get your employment contract stamped at a labour office but those are normally for labourers, not at professional level. Don't know why they demanded it. But the embassy didn't ask if you are director level and above. That's the situation back in Oct. I don't have the latest info.

Are you from Myanmar? It makes no sense that they'd ask for that for non Myanmar nationals.

I didn't get in Myanmar cuz they asked for labour stamp which I couldn't get. I'm trying in Cambodia.

New slots are opening daily at 6:30 in the morning. Suggest to keep an eye before 6:30 as it is more difficult to get one these days and book a slot asap when you see a green line appears on the web.
