Looking for advice on which visa would be best for me. I'm returning to Thailand for a TEFL/CELTA training mid November in Bangkok. Is a tourist visa sufficient? I'll also be looking for work afterwards and possibly relocating. I'm a software developer that will be teaching english tech classes hopefully. Any advice?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the best visa for returning to Thailand to complete TEFL/CELTA training and explore job opportunities. A commenter suggests that a tourist visa is sufficient for studying, as it doesn't require a specific visa type.

Taking classes doesn't require any specific visa. You can study on any visa. A tourist entry would be fine if it provides you with enough time.

They did not ask that. They asked about a visa while they are taking training. Then afterwards they are looking for a job to hopefully teach english classes.
