For attending a 3-days research conference ( IEEE conference ) in Thailand, which visa category should we apply for—Tourist MICE or Non-Immigrant ED?

We have received an invitation letter from the conference.

We will be staying in Thailand for a total of 10–12 days.

All of us are recent university graduates and current students, and we are from Bangladesh (BD)...Thanks

I have been in at lest 10 conferences in Bangkok, never anything needed than just tourist visa. Those conferences I attended lasted 5-12 days. Austrlalian passport but many Americans in there, hundreds of my then corporate people. No any visa for anyone.
