What time do I need to submit my paperwork at the Thai consulate in Vientiane?

I was there last week. We arrived at 8am. Completed our forms. Waited until 8:30. They started taking in all the forms. By 9:15 we were walking out the gate with our number. I was number 260 in the queue.

The next day we arrived after 1pm. At 1:30 they started handing passports out. Taking payments. We left by 2:30pm. It goes very quickly

I would estimate you'll probably get it back around 16:00 if you are that high. They have a posted cut-off for pickup of 15:00 though so better be in the queue by then just in case. You should have no trouble getting a flight at 22:00 though. Interested how it goes as going there again soon. I have caught flights around 18:00 from Udon myself in the past but with it so much busier these days I think if you had a flight that early better to go early the first day.

, I had a 6PM flight from Udon and made it with no problem and I turned in my passport quite late the day before.
