Hi everyone, I have a question regarding DTV application.
I understand I should say where I will be during the DTV application. In this case, i will put my Airbnb address in Vietnam.
When i tick that my permanent address is different than current address, it add a 2nd address to fill. Is my understanding correct:
1 = current adress
2 = permanent adress
Correct ?
Does anyone already filled a permanent address in Thailand ? Is there any issue ? Do you have to provide Home certificate only for current address during application ? or home permanent address as well ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV application requires applicants to provide both a current address and a permanent address. The current address refers to where you are applying from (e.g., an Airbnb in Vietnam), while the permanent address should reflect your home country. It is important to differentiate between these addresses correctly to avoid issues during the application process. Several users have confirmed this understanding, indicating it is acceptable to use a home address from your country and a temporary address where you are currently located.
I am planning to put my home address in UK and my permanent address in Ireland. Because my home isn't where I am currently🤔 I uploaded hotel booking with that address as proof of location. I need to use UK address as home as that matches my bank Statement. Is this correct?

Top one is your current address, so whichever country you’re applying from.
Bottom one is your permanent address wherever you’re reside full time.

Correct, admittedly it is a bit confusing having the same text in each portion.
Number 1 your current Vietnam address
Number 2 whatever you consider your home/permanent address.
Myself, I live in Thailand and put my Thai address in section 2.
i put my home address where i live in my home country. my next home address was my hotel in the place im applying from. i have an interview so it must have been correct
which one did you put hotel as? First one is home and the next is permanent.

Hazy 0 It’s referring to your first address generally being the place where you live permanently which is the country you actually reside in mine was my own home address in New Zealand
Then they ask is your permanent address the same as your current address the answer will be no because you’re currently in the place you are applying for a Visa so you put your hotel address down

I think the permanent address should be your home country. If not the officer may suspect how you are staying in Thailand permanently.
