What should I know before visiting the Thai embassy in Berlin for a visa application?

Just a quick report from Berlin. I went to the Thai embassy at 8:45 AM, there were about 8 people waiting. They opened the doors promptly at 9:00, and there was no queue for the visa window. I had *almost* everything I needed (application, passport copy, outbound ticket, photo) but they also wanted a copy of my *inbound* ticket. It took me a while to find a copy place near there that was open but my second trip took about 5 minutes and they said I could pick up my visa on Wednesday (4 business days from now).

Might be a more useful post IF you actually said what thai consulate/embassy you went to, and WHAT type of visa you were applying for :/

it is the only Thai Embassy in Berlin. I applied for a 30 day tourist visa, which ironically I forgot to check on the form the first time I handed it in. I’ve found the posts in this group useful and thought I’d try to contribute, sorry if I missed anything else.
