Koh Kong Cambodia border run…

1. Bring roughly $5000b in 100 and 50 notes. USD currency also welcome in Cambodia, plastic credit cards not accepted. If plannng on shopping, prices slightly higher than in Thailand. Dinner for two was 52,000riel, $13USD

2. Parking available behind shops just before border, 200b per day. It is extremely difficult to bring a car into Cambodia, do the research if that’s your intent.

3. Ignore the immigration lot lizards offering to do your paperwork, fill out one form yourself.

4. 1400b for USA citizens for 30 day Cambodia Visa, 200b from Thai citizen.

5. Koh Kong Resort is visible from immigration, beautiful 4 star resort, unfortunately not serving any food.

6. Tuk-tuk to Koh Kong City is 400b, preferably in 100b notes or your change will be in Cambodian Riel.

7. Koh Kong Hotel was decent, 750b per night, many restaurants within walking distance.

8. 400b back to border, again ignore the lot lizards, fill out your own paperwork, passing through Thai immigration was very easy.

9. The drive to the border is 4.5-5 hours from Pattaya, #3 all the way.
