Hi, just joined so apologies if this question has previously been posted and responded to. I will have my Retirement Visa, likely tomorrow. In April I will be traveling to visit my family in US and need to obtain a reentry permit. My question is about the dates of travel as the Form TM. 8 requires dates of travel, what happens if those dates change after I have obtained the permit or during my time out of Thailand. A lot going on in the world and uncertainty seems to be the only constant these days. Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the process of obtaining a reentry permit for Thailand after receiving their Retirement Visa. They ask if it is a problem if the travel dates submitted on Form TM 8 change after obtaining the permit. In response, other users clarify that the dates on the form are not binding, and the permit remains valid as long as the holder's current permitted stay period is active.

TM 8 for those who are not familair with form numbers:

Application form for the Re-Entry Permit.

It does not matter if dates changes from written to actual flying out. The permit is valid as long as your current Permitted to Stay period.
