What should I do if my Thai eVisa application is stuck on Pending Payment?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone run into this issue with the Thai eVisa site? I’m applying through the Royal Thai Consulate in Los Angeles, and my application is stuck on Pending Payment. Every time I click the payment icon, I get the popup shown in the attached screenshot.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

• Multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari)

• Incognito/private mode

• Laptop + phone

• Wi-Fi + mobile data

• VPN turned off completely

• Cleared cache/cookies

• Checked with my bank — nothing is being charged (so it’s not even reaching the payment processor)

It’s the same error every single time. This isn’t a card decline because it’s failing before it even attempts the transaction.

Has anyone experienced this before? And if so, how did you get it resolved?

Thank you in advance! 🙏🏽

I think i had the same problem when applying thru LA, had to try different cards on different days, and it went thru somehow.

Thank you all for the tips! A little embarrassed to admit it, but it turned out to be my card 😅. My bank was declining the charge as suspicious, but I’ve always been notified when that happens, for some reason I wasn’t this time.

I emailed the Los Angeles Thai Consulate to explain, and they actually approved and sent my visa within minutes because of the inconvenience. So I guess it all worked out in the end!
