Looking for advice. We have just come back from our bank after refusal of a letter and statement for Immigration to renew our OA Visa due to the fact our money is in our separate $US accounts and not our Thai baht accounts. What to do now and help greatly appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user faced a challenge when their bank refused to provide a letter and statement for Immigration regarding their OA Visa renewal, citing that their funds were in separate US dollar accounts instead of Thai baht accounts. Following community advice, the user visited Immigration with documentation regarding their foreign currency account and was able to successfully process their visa renewal without issues, highlighting that the initial bank refusal was likely due to the bank's unfamiliarity with the situation.

Well reporting back....went to Immigration this morning and had no problem at all with the letter from the bank regarding our funds in the Foreign Currency account. Thanks to all for your help. Seems it was more the bank coming across something they haven't dealt with, or didn't want to deal with.

The bank refused as they said it had to be in thai baht. Getting a friend to phone Immigration now. We have more than required in the $US account. We used that account to get our visa in the first place.
try another branch. I had an issue with a letter from immigration that the SCB branch did not want to accept. So I smiled, walked out, went to another branch and they accepted it...

SCB foreign currency account. It's not a fixed account.
Ok....friend just got back to me from Immigration. So going to try for a letter for them to say the amount in the account at todays rate in thai baht and immigration will accept it. Fingers crossed. Back we go. Thanks heaps.
Which bank are you using, and what type of account do you have?
You can not have gotten the Non-OA visa from that account since you need to get the Non-OA visa from your home country, and most foreigners do not have Thai bank accounts.
