TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues receiving a verification code on their British mobile phone while attempting to make an online transfer from Thailand. The conversation discusses the peculiarities of international banking codes and suggests that the issue may arise from how the Thai banks handle mobile verification for foreign numbers.
Strange one thinking about it.. you shouldn’t need to use +44 as it’s a uk number being contacted from the uk. The international code was primarily for calling a number registered in another country. Edit…. Unless it’s a Thai bank trying to message you in which case they will need +44

Its not the thai bank it's a British bank trying to send to my mobile that is out of the country they are trying to message me without using thai country code.
A Thai bank will never send a message when receiving money from a foreign bank. To me it seems like an OTP or a code being sent to this guy from the sending bank. It's hard to tell without more info.
We're talking about a UK phone number and the guy is in Thailand. That option is normally used for a Thai number. (I get my notifications by email.) So,why would it be useful in this case?
