Does anyone wants to recommend a reliable lawyer or personal tax advisor in Bangkok, that understands how to deal with a 'digital nomad', 'remote contractor', 'employee of record' type of personal income?

Bonus points if the professional don't charge fees for the first call.

Thank you!

They can't enforce anything without give people the access to social insurance and other rights. No one will give them any information until they change their Rassist laws towards foreigners.

You will loose that war.

Wait a month or so, then ask again, since then rules may or may not have changed.

I think the rules are pretty clear already. They're going to attempt to tax overseas income on paper. But that doesn't mean they can enforce it. And that doesn't mean it applies to me directly. it's a common law that other countries have, so any lawyer who knows some international law can advise me I think.

So, I'm just going to go ahead and not wait. Waiting for new laws in this country is a waste of my time.

Anonymous member are you doing anything in the USA? They may be able to strategize or have other partners who could assist.

Nothing in the US. Unless if that's advantageous to me, but I doubt it. I have no affiliation with any US entities at the moment.

Anonymous member you'd probably get better answers if you advised your nationality, current taxation country, visa status, long term plans to stay in Thailand because with a simple strategy of not being here 180 days your whole enquiry is moot regarding Thailand.
