Question not about Visa, but I don't know where else to ask. Does anyone have experience organizing a public seminar in Bangkok? Let's say it's a seminar of a religious nature, so not looking to make a profit by selling something. And it's by an organization that's not registered in Thailand and thus doesn't have an office in Thailand. Concern is what type of permit do I need to get if the speakers are foreigners. Tried to google this topic but couldn't find anything useful. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The questioner is seeking advice on organizing a public seminar of a religious nature in Bangkok, particularly concerning the necessary permits when using foreign speakers, noting that the seminar is not for profit and is hosted by an unregistered organization in Thailand. Responses highlight concerns about legality, suggest consulting a professional MICE organizer, and discuss the historical context of religious seminars in the region.
Religion not looking to make a profit for sure in the near term. But just like a Thai girl that knows how to plan the long game, you will be giving your monthly salary away to her.
Have looked into this thing once and the outcome was that it was not reasonably possible. You could organize this in your own name, which isn't legal but with the applicable rules everyone understands this is the result, or drop your plans.
